Opening a Lark Box is like opening a box of mini presents. You will see multiple fully-assembled, kits in colorful wrapping. Also included are necessities such as paper, crayons, paints, etc. We like to throw in some fun extras as well (yo-yos, bubbles, etc.).
Each of the kits contain an activity that is age appropriate, fun, and within your child's ability to complete on their own (at least mostly).
Every month the box is updated with new kits full of fresh ideas. We are always on the hunt for engaging and genuinely fun activities for children to complete on their own. Our hope is that your child has just as much anticipation and is just as excited to receive their 10th Lark Box as they are for their first.

What is in Lark box?
In each Lark box, there are 12-14 individually prepared and wrapped kits. In addition, there are drawing and writing utensils, glue, paper and any other material needed for the kits. There are activities on paper also- for example, indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts. We also include some fun extras.
How long will a box keep my child entertained?
Depends on how your child uses the kits. We want to provide parents a whole bunch of activities so that there are options for a while and so that the box entertains for a long time. However, we find that some children complete one activity and right away start on another. You might want to let your child choose one kit a day or let them use the kits at their own pace.
How many kits are in a box?
There are 12-15 activities per box. Most activities are kits. Some activities are scavenger hunts.
When do I receive Lark Box?
Orders are processed between 1-3 days. You'll receive an email confirmation and tracking code for your USPS Ground shipment. The average delivery is 8-10 business days from the date of order.
Is there an appropriate age for Lark?
We are working on developing more age specific boxes. For example, ages 3-6, ages 7-10, ages 11-13. But for now, we are creating kits that have a wide appeal for many age ranges.
Do I need to help my child with the activities?
We aim to provide children and their caregivers with activities that can be assembled and played with independently. If you have a younger child, there may be a few activities that require some supervision- though we try to keep those limited.
The kits are wrapped. How do I know what is in each kit?
Each box comes with an instructional booklet and will indicate what is in each kit, along with helpful hints or additional instructions.
Are the boxes full of the same activities every month?
Each month will have completely different kits. Scavenger hunts will remain but with different items to search for. Our aim is to keep the activities fresh and new.
Where do you ship?
Continental US. If there is enough interest outside this area, we will open up an international option.
Are the kits safe for children to play with?
Yes, the materials are all non toxic.
